Recently, over the Spring Equinox, I was blessed to spend time with the Grandmother Drum and White Eagle and friends at the Grand Central Plaza of the sacred site of Tikal, Guatemala. About twenty of us traveled there to help activate this sacred land with the Healing Sound and power of Grandmother Drum. We stood between the Temple of the Jaguar and another pyramid at the center of the Plaza. First, we joined Mayan medicine men and women for a Fire Purification ceremony. Then, White Eagle played the Drum as many of us laid down beneath it to receive her activation and healing. After lunch and a little siesta, we moved the drum into the shade (it was a very warm day!) and began to create a portal and do portal activation work with the Drum to help bring back "the Lost Children." This ceremony was the culmination of our journey to Guatemala on the Eagle and Jaguar Trip, a journey to, among other things, heal the rift between the north and south Americas. As our ceremony was coming to a close and dusk was setting in, I became aware that another group had joined us on the Plaza. They were dressed in white and dancing around the fire pit used for the purification ceremonies. The Guatemalan shaman with us picked up on a song that this group was singing and we joined in with him. Then, as White Eagle and I began to dance and bring our group into celebration -- we had accomplished our purpose of bringing back the Lost Children -- some members of the group dressed in white began to mingle with our group, playing the drum and dancing with us! Many of them were fluent in English, so we were able to engage in conversation. To our astonishment, we discovered that this group was mostly from Argentina! Here we were, a group from North America, visiting Central America for the purpose of bringing together the North and the South; and we found ourselves "synchronisticly" dancing with friends from South America! I could hardly stop smiling with joy and gratitude at the indescribable Power of the Spirit that brings all things together, in perfect Harmony and Love!
